The state of Connecticut offers main 7 games to play for the gambler within us for every day of the week.
There are daily Connecticut Lottery Pick 3, Pick 4, and Pick 5 numbers games where winners are paid every day, and 2 biweekly games; Mega Millions where the player picks 5 with a Mega Ball and a ‘Megaplier’ number. The Connecticut Lottery is also incorporated into the interstate Power Ball jackpot whereupon 5 numbers are picked along with the Power Ball number.
Typical Jackpots are in the $500 range for the Connecticut Lottery Pick 3 game, and in the $5000 range for the Pick 4 game. The Cash 5 game pays out in the $100,000 range to the player that matches the 5 digit Connecticut Lottery numbers for that day.
Biweekly payouts of $300,000 can be won playing the LOTTO pick 6 digit game with tens of millions up for grabs for the Mega Millions winning Connecticut Lottery twice a week.
The Power Ball jackpots, being funded by participating state affiliate lotteries has a 100’s of million dollar jack pot once the game is in procession for a short while.
Many Connecticut Lottery numbers are picked based on the gamblers gut feelings of circumstances and accounting from their daily life such a numbers that pop up naturally within a given day throughout the gamblers every day experiences, many times a player plays their fixed favorite set of predetermined set of 3, 4 and 5 digits every day hoping to hit the jackpot. The daily Pick games also have a midday drawing for that person who feels lucky that day.
For the biweekly games, due to the large number of possibilities allowed to pick a number from, many gamblers choose to play family members birthdays and anniversaries and set their Connecticut Lottery on a fixed basis hoping to cash in on their selected numbers some days drawing. Many customers use the easy pick method when playing the biweekly games where the point of sale machine generates a number sequence for the lotto customer.
The best strategy is to play many of the State Lottery games and not to play many chances on just one game since there is just one winner per game, whereupon betting many chances on just one game improves your chances of winning, but only one ticket of your investment for a given game can win thus making all the other purchased tickets losers.
The Connecticut Lottery number games cost just one dollar to enter the drawing making participation affordable by all walks of life for fun and fortune they are available at grocery stores and party stores the more a person plays increases their chances of being a winner of 500 to 500 million dollars.
The State of Connecticut invites players to play online on the internet and track the previous games winning numbers. More than half of the Connecticut Lottery prize money is given to the prize winner, there has been billions awarded to jack pot winners since the Connecticut Lottery inception.
Since its inception the Connecticut Lottery money proceeds of $7.2 billion went to their General Fund which supports: education, public health, safety, and libraries. TEW

The Connecticut lottery contributes millions of dollars to the state. Have you played today? http://biolot.org/the-connecticut-lottery-contributes-millions-of-dollars-to-the-state-have-you-played-today/ http://biolot.org/the-connecticut-lottery-contributes-millions-of-dollars-to-the-state-have-you-played-today/#comments Thu, 13 Dec 2012 09:14:35 +0000 admin http://biolot.org/?p=697 Continue Reading]]> For former State Representative John Miscikoski, seeing the Connecticut lottery become a reality was everything. Many lotteries throughout the country are started with the hope that the revenue generated from the sale of tickets could greatly benefit the states. With contributions to the Connecticut State’s General Fund exceeding $7.2 billion, John Miscikoski’s belief came to fruition. During the 2011 fiscal year, the state received contributions in excess of $289.3 million from the Connecticut lottery. These funds were used to support valuable programs throughout the state. Some of the programs that received a portion of the 2011 funds included Medicaid, the Connecticut Department of Education, Connecticut’s Department of Human Services as well as a handful of other important public departments.
There are eight different lottery games that Connecticut residents can participate in. Along with the multi-state mega lotteries Powerball and Mega Millions, Connecticut offers four Connecticut-only, regularly drawn games. If the twice-weekly drawings for Powerball and Mega Millions doesn’t offer enough of an opportunity to win some cash, Connecticut has it covered. With daily drawings, Play 3, Play 4, and Cash 5 all offer participants the opportunity to take home some extra cash. For those that like the format of the Powerball and Mega Millions games, the Classic Lotto, Connecticut’s very own jackpot game, conducts its drawings every Tuesday and Friday nights. The jackpot for the Classic Lotto starts at a million dollars and increases based on the sale of tickets. With the long history of lottery games being played in Connecticut, the lottery office introduced a new game in 2010. Playing off the popular raffle-style games, the Connecticut lottery introduced its residents to the Super Draw game. Held just twice a year, the Super Draw game gives participants the opportunity to walk away with the one million dollar jackpot.
