Are You Apart of The Lottery Craze Yet?
Whether you been playing the lottery for decades or a beginner, lottery purchases have been the most talked about subject everywhere you turn. From the newspapers to social media outlets, it has taken arise in recent pop culture.
Mega millions is one of the latest phenoms to saturate consumers this holiday season. The life changing cash prize will rise to $20 mill this week, due to no one having the winning numbers. According to Contra Costa Times: 'There were no tickets sold with all six numbers in tonight’s drawing ' (12/5/12). Wait, What? $20mill? I need to cash out for a ticket myself.
Suprisingly not all of America are apart of the mega millions states. Six of them want no part of the cash cookie jar. I'm sure some lottery gamers aren't too upset about this.
Even though some states don't live for lotteries, there is one that had to join the other big money game. The Calif. Lottery was just recently added to play powerball. Olsen Ebright of NBCBayArea states: ' The five-member California Lottery Commission unanimously voted to adopt the game, joining 42 other states.' No way they could stand on the sideline and watch other states play for $588 millon. With the winning tickets in Arizona and Missouri, California would love to be added to this list.
The Golden State may be on to something due to the recent success of the powerball play. A first time player picked the winning Ky powerball numbers, and pocketed a fast $1million. Alex Parker of Oldham,KY was bitten by the gamer bug, and won. Consumers are hoping they experience that type of immediate success.
As you can see everybody wants to be apart of the lottery party. With the shortages in jobs, people need all the help they can receive to rise out of their cash limits. Lottery games will not be going anywhere, especially when people are winning. So you think the 'stubborn 8' states will break down and join the powerball gathering soon? I predict yes.
